While it is not necessary to know your passport’s expiry date, you should take a look at it before making any travel plans. You should ensure that your passport is valid for 6 months at least after you enter a foreign country. You will also need a tourist visa to visit most countries around the world, so get hold of it.
Health
Based on your destination, you may have to get special medications or vaccines as precautions against different diseases. If you take prescription medications, ensure that you’ve enough of them to cover your travel duration. Do get a medical check-up done before you start traveling.
